Early Life and Education
Zach was born on October 23, 1975, in Savannah, Georgia. He graduated from Savannah High School in 1994 and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University in 1999.
Professional Career
Zach began his career as a financial analyst at SunTrust Bank in Atlanta. After several years, he returned to his hometown and joined the family business, Pruett Construction, where he served as Vice President of Operations. Under his leadership, the company expanded its operations and became one of the leading construction firms in the region.
Community Involvement
Zach was deeply committed to his community. He served as a board member for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Savannah United Way, and the Savannah Children’s Theatre. He was also an active volunteer at the Savannah Habitat for Humanity and the Ronald McDonald House.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Savannah United Way in Zach’s memory.
