Stan State Graduation 2024: Celebrating the Resilience and Achievements of the Class of 2024
A Milestone of Success
Stanislaus State University (Stan State) is honored to announce the upcoming graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024, scheduled for May 17-18, 2024. This momentous occasion will celebrate the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance by our graduating students.
Over the past four years, our students have faced unprecedented challenges, including a global pandemic, economic uncertainty, and social unrest. Despite these obstacles, they have remained resilient and determined to succeed.
By the Numbers
In 2024, Stan State expects to confer approximately 5,000 degrees, including:
- Associate’s Degrees: 1,500
- Bachelor’s Degrees: 3,000
- Master’s Degrees: 500
Among the graduating class, there will be:
- 62% female students
- 38% male students
- 60% students of color
- 40% first-generation college graduates
A Diverse and Accomplished Class
The Class of 2024 represents a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations. Our graduates come from all walks of life, with many having overcome significant challenges to pursue their education.
Among this exceptional group, there are:
- Student-athletes: 350 student-athletes who have competed at the NCAA Division I level
- Honors students: 200 students in the University Honors Program
- Student leaders: 50 students who have served in leadership roles in student government, clubs, and organizations
- First-generation professionals: 100 students who will be the first in their families to earn a college degree
- International students: 120 students from over 20 countries

The Stan State Graduation Ceremony will be held at the University Amphitheatre on May 17-18, 2024.
Friday, May 17:
- 10:00 AM: College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences
- 2:00 PM: College of Business Administration
Saturday, May 18:
- 10:00 AM: College of Education and College of Health Sciences
- 2:00 PM: College of Science and College of Engineering
