Local Teen Wins $20,000 in Science Fair for Invention
A 16-year-old student from Palos Hills has won $20,000 for her invention of an innovative device that purifies water. The device, which she developed as part of a science fair project, uses a unique filtration system to remove impurities from water sources.
New Business Opens in Orland Park
A new coffee shop and bakery has opened its doors in Orland Park. The shop, called “The Coffee Beanery,” offers a wide variety of coffee drinks, pastries, and sandwiches. It also has a cozy seating area where customers can relax and enjoy their purchases.
