Types of Merit Scholarships Offered by NYU
NYU offers a variety of merit scholarships, including:

Eligibility Requirements for Merit Scholarships
To be eligible for a merit scholarship from NYU, you must:
- Be a US citizen or permanent resident
- Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Have an SAT score of 1400 or higher (or an ACT score of 32 or higher)
- Be in the top 10% of your class
- Demonstrate leadership and service
How to Apply for a Merit Scholarship
To apply for a merit scholarship from NYU, you must complete the following steps:
- Submit your application for admission to NYU.
- Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
- Submit the NYU Merit Scholarship Application.
