The Race
The Amazing Race is a reality competition show in which teams of two race around the world, completing challenges and solving puzzles. The first team to reach the finish line wins $1 million.
This season, the teams will travel to 13 different countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico.
The Challenges
The challenges on The Amazing Race are always varied and challenging. Teams will have to complete physical tasks, such as running, swimming, and climbing, as well as mental tasks, such as solving puzzles and answering trivia questions.
Some of the challenges that the teams will face this season include:
- Running a marathon through the Amazon rainforest
- Climbing to the top of Machu Picchu
- Riding a camel through the Sahara Desert
- Swimming with sharks in the Great Barrier Reef
- Eating a live scorpion
The Prizes
The first team to reach the finish line of The Amazing Race will win $1 million. The second-place team will win $500,000, and the third-place team will win $250,000.
In addition to the cash prize, the winning team will also receive a trip around the world.
