Exam Administration Periods
The College Board has established two exam administration periods for the 2024-2025 academic year:

Period 1: May 5-8, 2024
Period 2: May 12-15, 2025

Makeup Exam Dates
Makeup exams will be offered for students who miss their scheduled exam due to unforeseen circumstances. Makeup exams will be held from June 2-5, 2024, and June 9-12, 2025. Students must contact their school counselor to schedule a makeup exam.
Deadlines
- May 1, 2024: Last day to register for exams in Period 1
- April 30, 2025: Last day to register for exams in Period 2
- March 31, 2024: Deadline for students to drop exams in Period 1 without penalty
- April 29, 2025: Deadline for students to drop exams in Period 2 without penalty
Fees
The cost to register for an AP exam is $97. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch may be eligible for fee reductions. Contact your school counselor for more information.
Scoring and Reporting
Exam scores will be released online in mid-July for Period 1 exams and mid-August for Period 2 exams. Students can access their scores through the College Board website.
How to Register for AP Exams
To register for AP exams, students must follow these steps:
- Create an account on the College Board website (https://collegeboard.org/).
- Use the College Board’s My AP page (https://myap.collegeboard.org/) to find the exams they want to take.
- Select the exam period they wish to take the exam in (Period 1 or Period 2).
- Pay the exam fee.
Late Registration
Late registration is available for students who miss the registration deadlines. However, late registration fees apply.
Exam Changes
Students can make changes to their exam schedule, including adding or dropping exams, by contacting their school counselor.
